You started your business to do what you love, not to spend hours every week chasing payments. But here you are, sending polite reminders and checking your bank account more often than you'd like.
Late payments aren’t just frustrating, they create real cash flow problems, especially for sole traders and small businesses.

Here are a few ways to take back control:
Set Clear Terms from Day One
Always communicate your payment terms clearly before starting work. 7 days? 30 days? Whatever it is, put it in writing.
Invoice Promptly
The sooner you invoice, the sooner you get paid. Make it part of your end-of-project checklist, or better yet, automate it.
Use Accounting Software
Tools like Xero or FreeAgent make sending and tracking invoices much easier. They also help with chasing overdue ones.
Outsource the Follow-Up
Following up on late payments can feel awkward. But not for me! As your VA, I can follow up professionally and consistently, so you don’t have to. You stay the good guy while I help keep the cash flowing.
If you’re tired of waiting to get paid, let’s change that. There’s a better (and less stressful) way. Drop me an email at amy@taabvirtualsolutions.com.
